Human Resource Director
Cebu

Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Chairman of Abacare Group and the General Manager Operations (both foreigners)
  • Supervise a dedicated HR team
  • Plan, develop and implement strategy for HR management and development (including but not limited to recruitment and selection policy/practices, discipline, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions, contracts, training and development, succession planning, morale and motivation, culture and attitudinal development, performance appraisals and quality management issues)
  • Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development
  • Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
  • Manage and develop direct reporting staff
  • Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets
  • Liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purposes and achievements
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary HR development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to the management, managers and staff within the Abacare Group
  • Contribute to the evaluation and development of HR strategy and performance in cooperation with the management team
  • Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care
  • develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in conjunction with the senior management to assure consistent and good employee relations in line with the company policy
  • Manage HR department’s resources and personnel to obtain maximum benefit through organization, training and leadership
Job Requirements:
  • Work in Cebu City
  • Bachelor Degree holder in Psychology, Human Resource Management or Behavioral Science
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in human resource profession of which at least 5 years of managerial position. Experience with an international company
  • Hands-on experience in compensation & benefits administration including but not limited to payroll, and staff movement; recruitment, employee insurance administration, performance management
  • Excellent command in spoken, written and reading English
  • Strong knowledge of the labor law and relevant legal requirements
  • Good computer skill and high proficiency in mastering MS Excel and Word. Previous experience with MS office 365, SharePoint is preferrd
  • Take on responsibility, contribute new ideas and initiative and manage change
  • Able to work well with multiple internal stakeholders (foreigner) with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong in negotiation, planning, organizing, coaching and problem solving skills
  • Have the drive to motivate HR team members to give excellence performance
  • Proactive, pragmatic, with high levels of energy, detail oriented
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working in multi-cultural environment
